JAPAN BLUE JEANS
A denim brand with urer in the Kojima area of Okayama Prefecture, boasting a worldwide reputation as a denim production center. Launched in 2011 with the aim of spreading the quality of MADE IN JAPAN DENIM overseas. It offers jeans that combine recognized silhouettes in Europe and the US with Japanese quality to propose a new perspective.

Lightweight and Soft Sashiko Fabric
The fabric uses the brand's original 11oz sashiko fabric with a moderate texture. Unlike typical heavy and stiff sashiko fabric, it is light and soft, making it easy to wear daily.

Additionally, it is dyed with the same rope dyeing method as denim, allowing you to enjoy the aging process similar to denim.

Care Instructions
- Color may transfer to other garments during wear.
- May transfer color when wet from rain or sweat, or due to friction.
- While machine washing sashiko fabric is possible, it is recommended to wash this product separately.

What is Sashiko?
A traditional Japanese stitching technique used to reinforce and insulate clothing. In the Tohoku region during the Edo period, cotton threads were used to fill the gaps in hemp fabric to withstand the cold.

During that time in Edo, there were many fires, and sashiko fabric was used as "firefighter clothing" to protect against sparks. Due to its durability and impact resistance, it is also used in judo and kendo uniforms.

Japanese-Style Light Outerwear
The unique design of this item is attractive with a Japanese feel like a hanten (a traditional Japanese half coat).

Seam pockets are provided on both sides without interfering with the design.

Overall, it has a moderately relaxed silhouette. It can be casually worn like a light outerwear or cardigan, exuding a stylish atmosphere.
